This one was a great project from start to finish. The client had recently completed on the property towards the end of last year and, on paper, it already had everything going for it. High ceilings, a well designed layout, en suite bedrooms, and a strong location within a private gated community. But the outdoor space just didn’t match the standard of the house. It felt unfinished and lacked the kind of presence you’d expect from a property of that calibre.
We were brought in after the client had already spoken to a number of other home improvement companies. There was real competition on this one, which made winning the job even more important for us. It came down to vision, detail, and trust. We didn’t just quote the work, we showed them how the space could actually feel once it was done properly.
The brief was clear. Create a clean, modern, low maintenance outdoor space that complements the quality of the home. Somewhere that feels premium, usable all year round, and visually sharp both in the day and at night.
We started by completely reworking the garden layout to maximise usable space. The centrepiece of the project is the porcelain slab patio. This instantly elevated the look and feel of the garden, giving it that high end, contemporary finish while also being durable and easy to maintain. The precision in the install was key here, making sure every line was clean and every level was perfect.
To bring the space to life in the evenings, we installed external wall mounted lighting. This completely changes the atmosphere at night, adding warmth, depth, and a sense of luxury. It is one of those features that often gets overlooked but makes a massive difference to how the space is experienced.
We also installed a brand new fence line, finished with yacht oil. This not only protects the timber but gives it a rich, premium tone that ties everything together visually. It frames the garden properly and adds that polished, finished look that was missing before.
What started as a garden with no real identity is now a space the client can genuinely be proud of. It matches the standard of the house, adds value to the property, and most importantly, it is a space that will actually get used.
